downtown Birmingham. We have the best of both worlds – the
peace and safety of a small town with a large metropolitan city
45 minutes away.
Jasper has everything that retirees might like. It is a beautiful
area in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We have a
lot of trees, a 400 mile circumference lake within 12 miles of
downtown Jasper, and the average temperature is 62 degrees annually.
It is just a great place for retirees. We have a large medical
center here for a city of our population.
