About
Daly City
Daly
City is a city of 100,000 people in northern San Mateo County,
adjacent to the City and County of San Francisco, on the Pacific
Ocean and just minutes away from San Francisco Bay. This enviable
location inspired the nickname "Gateway to the Peninsula."
With a growing population base, affordable and high quality housing,
excellent transportation and a productive work force, the future
for economic development is bright. Daly City earned its reputation
as a suburban residential community following World War II. It
has since evolved into a very strong retail market, with a favorable
environment for small businesses.
