About
Fillmore
Fillmore,
the last unspoiled small town in Southern California (just ask
Hollywood; they film here almost constantly), is nestled in the
heart of the Heritage Valley among lush citrus groves. Fillmore
was founded over a hundred years ago beside a Southern Pacific
railroad station, and it's still a "railroad" town!
Today, visitors board the Fillmore and Western historical train
in Central Park, next to City Hall, quaint antique shops and our
local winery. From there, they enjoy a leisurely, scenic ride
past the shady groves and picturesque farms of the Santa Clara
River Valley. So, the next time you drive by on Highway 126, stop
to see what we have here that might interest you.
