Located in Sacramento County, Rancho Cordova is situated 11 miles east of Sacramento on Highway 50. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are only 70 miles east, providing a convenient route to winter skiing and summer recreation. The San Francisco Bay Area is about 100 miles to the west of Rancho Cordova.

Rancho Cordova is the area's fastest growing employment sector. The choices of many employment options are just down the street and around the corner. Healthcare, insurance companies, restaurants and retail stores are all within a (very) short commute. So short, in fact, that you may want to ride your bike to work! Ride your bike to the Village Square. Visit the barber shop, the coffee shop or the deli. Miles and miles of scenic bike trails will wind throughout the Village, connecting with the American River Bike Trail.
