Although the climate is generally mild all the year around. There are four distinct seasons in Atlanta. Especially spring season is great time to visit. Usually kicking off in March, the sun starts to warm up the city and several festivals get things going. Dogwood and Inman Park are two of the season’s best. Unless you like things very hot and sweaty, it might be best to avoid the high summer months of July and August. Temperatures can get up into the 90s and big crowds can mean long queues at all the attractions. When things start to cool down a bit in late September and October, it’s also a good time to book flights to Atlanta. Prices for tickets to Atlanta are usually lower and hotels are cheaper too.
