Check out San Diego’s beginnings with a visit to Torrey Pines State Reserve. Here, you can see the untouched shoreline with all of its natural topography and plant life.
You will also see 3,000 Torrey pine trees in the reserve. These pine trees are the rarest in the U.S. While you are at the reserve also check out one of the last salt marshes in Southern California. The reserve offers plenty of hiking trails to explore the area.
