This New York\u2019s oldest continually operating drive-in still has those traditional drive-in speaker poles but don\u2019t worry as they also provide you the movie audio with digital FM. What adds to the retro ambience is the car side delivery from their snack bar.<\/p>\n

Shankweiler’s Drive-In Theater – Orefield, Pennsylvania<\/strong><\/p>\n

The classic drive-in theatre has been operational since 1933. Claiming to be the oldest one in America, the double feature at Shankweiler’s Drive-In costs approximately about 10$.<\/p>\n

Hull\u2019s Drive-In – Lexington, Virginia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Separating it from its other contemporaries, this is the first non-profit drive-in theatre. Although built in 1940, this theatre was reopened again after its demise in 1999 by a group of volunteers.<\/p>\n
